Serge is a pretty cool guy and one of the reasonable voices out there on balancing development / eco-preservation of this peninsula. I strongly recommend taking the time to go out and see him if you have the chance...

He has been on a serious book tour circuit lately, unfortunately not close enough for me to attend (yet). As a Wildcoast supporter his book is high on my must read list. This guy is looking out for all of us who love remote Baja.

BajaBlanca - 3-31-2011 at 01:24 PM

yes indeed - he has sent some of his people here to La Bocana and they have been working very hard to buy up land and keep it "as is" forever ... they pay the residents for their property, they can continue living there and then I believe after they pass away, the property reverts back to Costa Salvage in perpetuity.

they have sponsored some clean ups here in la bocana too - which I love !!

give Serge a big hug for those of us who can't be there, but appreciate the mission from King Neptune he is on.

i'm giving again, to WILdCOAST, if only 'cuz they do so much for "us".
