Hola Nomads, While in Bahia Asuncion I met with Dave who is an OR Doc and also does the animal neutering in Mulege. He told me of the Mulege
Rotarian's need for a volunteer Opthamologist who can perform cataract surgery. So if anybody has any contacts you can have them email Dave at:
mulege2@gmail.com Thanks for your consideration.

Here is an individual who has developing cataracts in both eyes. Was diagnosed at the Miner Hall school of optometry, and they're getting worse. Would
appreciate any contact information --- thanks.

DavidE, Try checking out the Flying Samaritans website, Gold Coast Chapter. They hold clinics in San Quintin and they have an opthamologist attend
some of their clinics. They may be able to help you.
BUMP!

If David's e-mail was correct as originally posted, he should have received a couple La Paz leads from me on Monday.
But a little more exposure never hurts!

Thanks for that longlegs, Dave wrote his email address on the back of a business card, and I copied it exactly as he wrote it down, so he should be
getting your emails. I don't know if he visits this board, but I have also contacted Dr. Joe Kuntze who is involved with the Gold Coast Chapter of
the Flying Samaritans. They have a cataract specialist who attends some of their clinics in San Quintin, so they may be able to help Dave and the
Mulege Rotarians as well. I'll be back at the Los Pinos ranch this weekend for the Mother Lode Chapter's monthly clinic as well to see 3 prosthetic
wearers.

He's created his own separate thread here in addition to posting on this one, so he definitely is watching here. I U2U'd him the same info I'd
originally e-mailed him. This way, I'll have visibility of receipt.
