We all call it Maria's.
I was asking some time ago if anyone have seen her....she was not at her Fish Taco stand for over a year. I thought she had died.
Nope! There she was last week....working alongside of her granddaughter.....making tacos for the last 33 years at that location. She is known by all
the locals. Even my son Nicky lite up with a big smile when we saw her.
As explained to me...Maria went thru a surgical procedure. Intestines. Lost many pounds, looking good.
Okay...simply the best fish tacos. Nothing fancy. Ice cold....really cold...bottled Coke. What else do you need?
Maria is on the north end of the Malecon.

Glad to hear Maria is doing well!
She is a lovely lady and makes really good fish tacos!! I've spent many USD at her little place. I suddenly have a craving for fish tacos while
writing about her!
