Carlos (Luis Carlos Alvarez C.) has been a friend of mine since 1997.
He had this boat (Amigo's Sun Trip) in service three years prior to 9/11 then stopped. Good timing.
The boat is American built, 34 feet, from Arkansas with a 140 h.p. diesel motor. Carries 18 passengers.
Carlos has all insurances & all permits for the services he provides. He carries 25 life jackets.
Most difficult for procurement were permits for the Marine Park.
Carlos offers two sailings per day, morning to Isla Coronado and evening in front of the town. Lots of music and lighting for ambiance.
Back to the patience thing. Inactive since 911, Carlos is back on the water. Until food & drink permits are complete, you must bring food &
drink.
However, bang for the buck, at 150 pesos per person, it is a great evenings entertainment.
Lotta patience.DENNIS - 4-21-2011 at 09:45 PM

That kinda surprises me, but I guess you're right. So.....why?Cypress - 4-22-2011 at 12:27 PM
Maybe US immigration and Mexican immigration could set up a "swap your citizenship" system. All you wannabe Mexicans could just trade your US passports for Mexican passports. No strings attached. Lifetime guarantee. Cypress - 4-22-2011 at 02:16 PM

good question, denny.
if such a statement is used as signature, i think we need further explanation.

Goat, Cypress & Dennis . . . fair question. I intend not to debate any question, particularly of a negative nature.
My affection for Mexico began in 1976, T.J. to San Quintin, watering holes, brown skin & more.
Continually absorbing the Baja & mainland, and becoming less enchanted with a society I believed kept shooting itself in the foot . . . I moved my
family with two youngest sons (of 6 total) to Loreto . . . very much in protest (respecting my family who defended America, and two years as a Naval
Officer myself).
Here, I dedicated my mind, body & soul to enjoy life from another side. That is from language, hand lining & Tecate/Tequila, friends &
neighbors, to educating my sons in the Mexican system, land ownership & of course citizenship. Been a great ride!
I am dearly proud to say, "American by birth, Mexican by choice".
It has all taken patience. Something I had to learn.DENNIS - 4-22-2011 at 04:40 PM

I'd take this "Fun Trip" puppy up tp Concepcion and make some money during Semana Santa!! Over to Shari's for Fall?? Patience? ! Make everyone
happy. Looks like a good idea until the Cabo Thing takes over. Let's
don't! Good fishing barge, no?! Tio
