Is that cool or what! Love that the govenment of Mexico shuts down for Dia de Madre, sez a lot about the culture, ya know.

it is the biggest holiday of the year...for women! The villages put on a free party for all the ladies with entertainment, food, a big raffle and
often all you can drink cerveza...the women get crazy and dance all afternoon and into the evening. It is really something to see so ladies, if you
are in a mexican village, by all means find out where the party is and attend but warn your husbands as you are bound to be kinda wound up when you
get home.

I Love Mother's day in Mexico, it is the BEST holiday of the Year. I got just what I wanted most; 3 dozen yellow roses and big hugs from my family.
Pretty soon we are going out for breakfast. It is the simple stuff in life that gives me the most joy.
