I don't know what I'm waiting for, but I have to try this place. It's had nothing but "Three Thumbs Up" since they opened a couple of months back.
It's said, three of the key employees came from the Jalisco restaurant down in Maneadero. perhaps there's a business relationship.
It used to be a liquor store for those of you who can't place where it is and liquor stores are good landmarks for Nomads.
I've been searching hi and lo for a translation of "Merendero." Can someone help me out?J.P. - 5-10-2011 at 02:55 PM

For a translation of "Merendero"
Maybe local slang for a local from Maneadero? Just guessing.

My pocket version of the Random House Spanish Dictionary lists "Merendero" as "lunchroom" and the verb "merendar" as "eat lunch."DENNIS - 5-10-2011 at 05:07 PM

Make the sweeping right turn toward the Buf and it's like 200 yards up the street, right side. Can't miss it.
I think they open around 7:00. I'll look into that and correct myself if mistaken.bigboy - 5-10-2011 at 07:53 PM
