Wind

Hi guys. We're flying into Cabo a week from today and taking 10 days to camp and drive up to San Diego, then back up to the Bay Area. No real itinerary is set yet however we'd like to camp on the coast and fish etc. My question is which side of the peninsula would be better to stick to this time of year in regards to wind.
On sailflow.com it seems the East side would be favored. Any input? Thanks again everyone.

yup...May is our windiest month on the mid pacific coast although much depends on how hot it is over on the gulf side...if ya wanna cool off, just zip over to the Pacside for a couple days....often if its blowing on the gulf, it is gorgeous and calm over here and visa versa but it is the windy season on the pacific now.

Awesome, thanks. Maybe we'll make it to your neck of the woods if a "cool-off" is needed.

Max, head to East Cape area to shake off the rain & cold of The Bay Area! It's gettin hot and the water is beautiful. Howya gettin around if you fly in and wanna go camping? Over here on the West Cape you can camp at San Pedrito and take afternoons walkin around Todos and sampling Tacos. Good luck, Amigos. Tio ps then there's Mulege; aaahhhh, this is the Life---Nomads:coolup:

Hola Thomas!

We drove down a month ago and left our truck at a rancho near Los Frailes and flew home.

Can't wait to come back!
