sheesh...with nearly all the canucks back up north, it was a small hockey party for this 2nd game of the playoffs watched from the blowhole in Asuncion... Pretty dull game till the 3rd period...Canucks pull it off once again in another dramatic win.... ahhh I can taste that lovely microbrewery beer now Woody!!!

Santiago...ya up for another bet amigo?? anyone else?

funny thing is we canucks arent real patriotic but I gotta tell ya I sure love hockey and feel proud to be born canadian and have grown up with hockey....although it's gotten pretty woosey now with helmuts and facemasks, big pads etc.

I'm here Shari, just got back from Loreto last week and am still on cloud 9. The late night honking and fans screaming in the streets have gone on for hours after each game. Can not imagine what this place will be like if, NO wait WHEN our beloved Canucks win it all.

WHY do the Canucks torment us like this. Best of 3 series now and it's going to be harder than ever to watch this without blowing a gasket

The Canucks finally ran into a team that plays playoff style hockey. Not finesse, just grinding it out in the corners and taking the Canucks finesse players out of the game in front of the net.

The Sedin brothers got the Canucks this far........unfortunately, the Sedin sisters showed up for the Finals.

I hear they're going shopping at the mall today for some new Boston style dresses before going back to Canada........
As for the Bruins....... they're just Hockey Brut's that's what this game is all about..

If you don't think the Canuck players are "grinding it out" I have no idea what sport you've been watching! You do NOT get this far in the Stanley Cup without a lot of blood, stitches, and guts...no matter who you are or
what team you are on. Not all players grind and not all players have finesse...it's a mix. The Oiler's dynasty had Semeko for Wayne, Kuri, and the rest. The Canadians had Tremblay, Savard, Reisbough to protect Lafluer and Shutt......and Clarke Gilles and Nystrom for Potvin, Bossy, and Trottier for the Islanders four (?) cups.

Yes, in a perfect world Santiago that would be the dream come true. But after 2 months of play-off tension, we just want it taken care of. Game 7 against Chicago was too much for the old ticker. Yes, we have a mulligan but why use it if you don't have to. Game 7's don't favor any one team. Besides, that would really stick it to those big old bad BRUINS

Nothing better than hockey fans... remember the first time I took the wife (we were dating) ... watched the Seals that used to be in Long Beach... play the Blackhawks..

The wife was really scared... there were more fights in the stands than on the ice ...

But, she got into it... as was yelling as loud as the rest... and she had never seen one before... and had never skated either... which I took her out to do...

Used to ice skate a lot when young... liked speed skating more than hockey... most likely cuz I wasn't any good... with a stick... and a puck... ok on high sticking and the rest.. Just not any good at hockey the game .....

Will be rooting for the Bruins... but, like both teams... both play well .. should be a great game...

GO BRUINS...... THE TEAM WITH THE MUSCLE AND THE FINESSE WILL PREVAIL........

I hope they start "Lou the Sieve" tomorrow night and maybe the "Sedin Sisters" will man up for it.....It would be nice to have a contest instead of the blow out I'm predicting..... Good luck Canucks !! No really, I mean it, good luck...
