Hi Chris,
Other than the fishermen's campo near the road onto the island, nobody but us camping on the island all of Memorial Day weekend. A group of gringos
were at the beach in front of the road one day, just for the day.
Lot's of plastic bottles drifting down from Percebu or perhaps San Felipe, compared to other trips. Percebu was busy it seemed, a dramatic increase
from 4th of July last year when it was nearly deserted. Do people actually think 90º is too hot for the desert, when there is an ocean to jump into
(with 90º water then)?? LOL
It is far from hot until August... In fact, this was the coolest Memorial Day I have experienced there (77º). Too bad the netting has decimated the
surf fishing... Corbinas love the summer/ fall ... or used to. Just need some bait for them...
We will be back in July... and more if we can! We love the warm water... the world's biggest hot tub day and night! |
