I will be trailering my 20' Trophy to Cabo this fall and will need Mexican, on the water, liability insurance for 6 months. Can anyone recommend and

I had Zurich insurance through Vagabundos for my 30 ft sailboat in La Paz. The boat has been there for 13 years. Hurricane Marty destroyed the
marina, damaging my sailboat. I flew down, an adjuster flew down also. He took photos, reviewed the damage, and we were assured we were covered. He
said if additional repairs were necessary after they began work, that would be covered too. They included my airfare, etc. After repairs in a La Paz
boatyard Zurich sent a check for the total, less our deductible. They have included in their policy to cover the expense to remove your boat to a safe
place if a named hurricane is on the way. Have not needed that as the marina was rebuilt, breakwaters all around. This company has been great to

I'm with you on that, some of us would like a sure
fire Mex Ins Co that will stand behind there policies
and not try to find a way out. Of course US Ins Co's

Mr Swords is correct; many sailors use Zurich and other companies dialed into sailing and gunkholing. Jack: does Zurich provide the liability in

I have coverage on my 24' I/O Maxum Runabout through a broker based in Newport Beach. The Mexican insurer is AXA Seguros, S.A. de C.V. My broker's
name is John Oyler and his number is 949 673 1212. The insurance company was pretty thorough in their underwriting requirements but the premium was
competitive and I was told that they are the largest insurer in Mexico.
