She had a great birthday because she got everything she wanted, as usual.
Bob - we did not make it to Matz this trip. One of our guests is not much for seafood so we will have to head there next time. Also I should note that
Tacos Jaliscience looks to be closed. There is a chain link fence up that
surrounds the building east and the parking area including Tacos J.
We did make it to Yaqui's for perrones, Alegria for tacos de pescado y camarones, Mariscos Novaletos for ceviche tostadas and c-cktail de almejas, El
Trailero for tacos al pastor y tortas de carne asada, La Fonda for prime rib, quail and margaritas. Short trip so that is all we had time for plus
Saturday night we grilled a leg of lamb on the deck at Casa EGL that we enjoyed with a bottle of buubly and some 2001 Chateau Montelena Cab.
Border wait Monday at Otay was 15 minutes. The girls walked across and I had to wait about 15 minutes more to pick them up.

Belated BD wishes to Barb, too. We did see the ISS on Sunday night - clear as a bell here for once. It was spectacular! Thanks for the "heads up".
