Thanks, that is a great siteBajaGringo - 6-23-2011 at 08:05 PM
We watch the wind closely here. My favorite site is SwellWatch. It has a lot of data and you can check the wave and wind forecast, hour by hour over
several days.
If you click on the Baja link-arrow on the menu bar you can get more detailed information for different areas of the peninsula...gpm414 - 6-24-2011 at 07:22 AM
Thanks for the link, looks like a good site.Borregoman - 6-24-2011 at 09:11 AM
swellwatch is a very cool site if you live on the Pacific side of the peninsula, but no info north of La Paz on the Sea of Cortez side.BajaGringo - 6-24-2011 at 11:23 AM

swellwatch for baja is just a guess on their part. when the surf is big in socal swellwatch will be calling 12-18'. totally unrealistic..... there are
not enough weather bouys offshore baja for them to be accurate.
as for their wind forecasts, i dunno.BajaGringo - 6-25-2011 at 08:59 AM
SwellWatch is pretty much right on with the wind. I've been tracking them for about a year now...BajaWarrior - 6-25-2011 at 09:11 AM

Hey E,
http://www.windguru.cz/int/ is the site the Kite Surfers in your Bahia Santa Maria use. Select North America/Mexico/Baja,Bahia Santa Maria.
We're down for the 4th at the Beach House then start the Havasu season the next weekend.
