Wireless broadband Internet in Baja Norte and Sur

Is there a Mexico/Baja DATA
plan I can purchase in Mexico that I could use with my AT&T smartphone and iPad to access the Internet? I have one of those smartphone devices that can be a wireless access point for up to 5 phones or computers.

Yes, Telcel Amigo (prepaid) 3G data (Banda Ancha). Several of us in San Felipe have been using it for the past 18 months, some with mobile routers. I've written a lot about it at
http://www.sanfelipelife.com/category/Phone-Internet

In short, the prepaid pay-as-you-go is $40 a month for 3GB of data, there are other choices as well.

In Spanish: http://www.bat.telcel.com

Perfect!

So, where's CSI, on Mar de Cortes Sur, almost opposite The Peoples Gallery, vicinity map please?

Thanks.

It's also opposite Fandango's sports bar. Head into San Felipe from the north (on Chetumal), turn right one block before the sea (at big boy's Pizza), then go on about three-four blocks.

Just don't expect to have a connection at all times. According to my domestic cell phone company, there is no coverage in many small towns at all (and between them, naturally - which includes most of Baja). Say, in towns smaller than Mulege or St. Rosalia.
