I'm departing Los Barriles solo this coming wknd 2nd July, up to Rosarito Beach and wonder the state of construction thru the mountains south of
Loreto, as well as north and any other info of the past few days which would be relevant.

We just did the south bound trip last week to Cabo and not big problems. There were 6 spots with short dirt patches where they are repairing the
road. The most significant was the grade going down to the coast before you arrive at Lorreto if you're driving north bound. As you may know, the
military stops and inspects most cars going north. Much more so than going south so expect some delays. The good news is there are 2 fewer of them
(the one n. of La Paz is gone as is the one south of El Rosario near Catavina). After El Rosario its just a long, slow slug with lots of local
traffic until you reach the toll road n. of Ensenada.
Take it slow and save your strength for the last day..
