Me and two friends flying in to SDJ in Oct,
will have alot of fishing gear. I have heard of the bus to East Cape but with all the gear could be a problem. Am I stuck taking a van and if so
which on is best?

If you are staying at an East Cape hotel I bet they could arrange a van to pick you up. That is probably the easiest way to go. I've been picked up by
.Transportadores Touristicos Los Cabosa few times. Not cheap, around $80usd I think, but it'll get you there with minimal ( hopefully )
hassles. There is a bus that goes to East Cape but it stops out on the highway some distance from the airport. You'd have to walk out there with your
gear which may be impossible depending on how much stuff you have with you. Buena Suerte amigo, and remember...only keep what you can eat.
