TJ cops torture caught on video

JoeJustJoe - 6-29-2011 at 11:05 AM

in the "AFN-Tijuana" there are a couple of TJ police brutality reports of the TJ cops beating detainees and there is video of the abuse, however the "AFN" only shows one YouTube torture where a highly placed ex-military officer in the TJ police department caught a armed robbery suspect Hernandez Barragan, who resisted arrest, and said a few things to the TJ police. When the cops caught up with Barragan and his girlfriend or partner in crime. They took Barragen to the police station where he was allegedly beat, and tortured! The video shows the ex military officer placing a grocery bag over the head of the robbery suspect Hernandez Barragan!

There was a TJ cop witness a "Serpico" like TJ cop that caught the incident on video. According the the unnamed TJ cop he told TJ police chief Huerta about the incident, but Huerta blew him off, and later denied any knowledge of the video.

Later senior officers approached the unnamed whistle blower and presumably offered money to keep quiet. Afterwards the "whistle blower" and his family received several threats. It was after the threats the "whistle blower" decided to go public with the video and contact a news source.

There is also another incident on video that shows two TJ cops beating a detainee inside a police car, but we don't get to see that video for now.

Of course Tijuana police chief Huerta says that there is no tolerance for police officers who commit abuses of authority. Yeah right?

It's sad that there are "Nomad" members that condone such human rights abuse by the Mexican military and the local TJ police, but even armed robbery suspects have basic human rights. Nomad members who think this way believe they themselves are immune from such abuse by the military or the local police, because they don't breaks laws and are from America. However, wherever the Mexican military go crime, violence, and drug dealing seem to get worst not better.

Try to keep up, Craig. Jenny is already here.
Speaking of which....personally, I like the Jennys, A-Heads and Fulanos. I like them for the researched info they bring here. I even, at most times, like the fire they're served with.
I've learned more about the Mexico I'm involved with from this collective bunch than I have on my own.
Going over the line doesn't bother the Jennys as they have a revolving door and Doug knows it. It's just interesting to watch the breaking point as it gets close to the end.

I look forward to more.

Thats torture??

While i think the cops should be reprimanded for doing an obviously stupid thing, this is NOT torture by a long shot.

Yeah torture is a dry tortilla, over-cooked fish, warm pacifico, cracked sunglasses, a leaking gas tank, too hot water in summer and too cold in winter, water in your gas tank, poor service in a restaurant, frozen food at a famous fish house with loud music and self-indulgent lead guitarists!#@$%!
