El Vergel - 6-30-2011 at 07:42 AM

My Homie visited this Pebble Beach Classic Car Event in 2009 and recently turned me on to a CD choked full of dreamy images. Here's a select few for your enjoyment. Don't ya just love machines?

I hope you enjoyed these great pictures. A special thanks to Dan DuCote for his share!

Peace!

Went to that show and I thought I was going to be hot stuff driving around Monterey in my new Carrera. Well, I felt like a poor cousin along side the Lambos, Bents, and Ferraris.

The Bugatti Engine looks like it was fabricated from sheet metal, wander how it was able to hold all that compession? Must be nice to be able to collect cars like that.
My I ask what it cost you to to get in to see the show?

Hi! Yup, most of this stuff seems like a one-off developed for performance....and as Art. That Buggati engine piece looks like copper??? And, yes. It must be nice to be able to collect these beautiful machines and afford to restore and show them!!! I was told 2-5 bucks to get in. $150-$200 for gawkers entrance, $500 if you want to hang a breakfast with participants.

...maybe this isnt the Buggati, or copper???
