ORW Talks Baja Shocks

Monotube vs. Twin Tube.

I knew that Twin Tubes were cheap and ineffective, but ORW explains precisely why. I have been running the MX-6 Monotube for 8 years now, and this explains why it is superior to the Rancho RS9000 shock I was unhappy with - primarily the rebound action that made it feel like a pogo stick when off-road.

I had rancho shocks and there lift kit on my 79 f-150 4x4. That was the hot setup back than. I run Bilstein's on my Jeep now...........I like the video Thanks Ken

Thanks Ken. I just installed OME 881 springs with Bilstein 5100 shocks on my 04 Tacoma. I need a Baja run to check it out. So far I've only had it on Breckenridge and Piute mountain trails east of Bakersfield.

On my last Tacoma ('05, with too soft back springs) I had ORW install both Ride Rite air bags and Bilstein 5100 shocks, on the back... I loved the set up and the team at ORW in Escondido gave me the right formula. The 5100's are one level up in performance from the stock yellow Bilsteins that come on the Off Road TRD Tacomas.
