Cloudy all morning with beautiful tropical skies ! Arlene, verdad?! No rain yet but we're all hoping. Have our friends Eli in VeraCruz or Chippy in Colima any news? Guayabitos? I saw Weather Channel video of heavy rain & flooding in Acapulco. Just a little, por favor! Tio

Today's Baja Insider's excellent weather run-down is predicting a return of El Nino, drastic warming of eastern Pacific waters and an enhanced hurricane season. Good news, I guess, assuming we don't get blown away. Nothing of note expected on the Baja before 45 to 60 days down the road.

Looks pretty neutral for the ENSO on NOAA:

We have had (as of 11 am) 5.5 inches of rain since 10 pm last night. Its now 3:48 pm our time and raining. I´ll have to go check my guage but I´m guessing we got another 1.5 to 2 inches since 11 am. This remnant low is sitting right on top of us. We should get alot more rain tonite. I´ll go for a drive tommorrow and access the flood damage if it stops raining. For now I´m loving it:tumble: getting lotsa things done around the house. Very COOL.
