WHAT"S WITH THE POLICE ESCORTS FOR 18 WHEELERS?

My last five return trips from Ensenada via the CORREDOR 2000 included some police vehicle escorting 18 wheelers to their turn-off at the border.
The cops will not let one pass any of the trucks, so you are stuck following the trucks for a few miles.
Is this some kind of new policy? :fire:

Trucks with Police escorts usually carry very valuable cargo, like plasma tvs, computers, etc etc

we run into those convoys all the time and it is a super PIA because the cops won't let you pass. so your trapped from Blvd 2000 well onto Blvd Industrial where they all turn off onto some side street.
