NEW LA BUFADORA VENDOR...INTERESTING ITEMS!

Udo - 7-3-2011 at 07:08 PM

IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME...

since a new vendor displays their wares in La Bufadora, (the blow hole, near Ensenada).
They carry hand blown glass bottles with cacti, flags, palm trees, etc. in them, as well as glasses and shot glasses, cups, etc. with said items in them also.
Very cool stuff!

I tried their web site www.chorechango.com but nothing came up!

Enjoy!

beautiful glass.. I once went to a glass blowing shop in cabo probably 11 years ago, and it was incredible to see them in action.

Where Are They Located in Bufadora?

How far in? On the right hand or left hand of the corridor?

Thanks is advance.

Ahhhh... OK..... now I get it.

Isn't this the same glass stuff I always see, except they are clean and in a bright store?
I do have the shot glasses, drinking glasses, a pitcher and some stir rods- but I swear this is the same stuff. At least I know where to get replacements.

I don't, what's the joke? Like Woooosh said, seems like more of the same.

Hola, Jan!

Apologiess for the late answer...went to bed early last night.
If you park at the Los Gordos restaurant area, they are located on the left side about 15 shops down. Really unusual glasses. Buy extras in case of breakage. You won't find replacements...unless someone shows up with another batch, as was in my case.
I had recently broken my last shot glass and it literally broke my heart, knowing that it was the last one of those in existence.

Some of the "blown glass" work is incredible. I particularly like the bottles and glasses with little, colorful cacti inside. Real craft.

Thanks Udo

I love finding artisan glass.

BTW, I don't buy crack pipes

Bought a hand blown pitcher and set of glasses last week in Playa Del Carmen, got home Thurs night and since Friday it has been in the fridge with the never ending sangrias!
