After two storms in June, it appears NOAs new warmer water prediction means earlier & more Hurricanes in Southern Baja! Calvin looks big &
mean altho he is headed away from land & into colder water. Our water here in TS has warmed up and surfing/swimming is sweet! 76 degrees?!
It may attract a few big, bad Hombres into our area earlier than normal. Fausto was our last direct hit in 1995. Batten down the hatches,

Hurricane season begins in the eastern pacific the same day every year, May 15th.
Calvin is the 3rd hurricane. a &b both turned into hurricanes

In 1995, I thought hurricane Henriette was the one that boresighted San Lucas. I remember it well --- four days without power.

2001 was bad in in October. All the shelves were empty at the corner stores in Cabo and no gasoline for a while.
