tiotomasbcs - 7-8-2011 at 11:33 AM

After two storms in June, it appears NOAs new warmer water prediction means earlier & more Hurricanes in Southern Baja! Calvin looks big & mean altho he is headed away from land & into colder water. Our water here in TS has warmed up and surfing/swimming is sweet! 76 degrees?! It may attract a few big, bad Hombres into our area earlier than normal. Fausto was our last direct hit in 1995. Batten down the hatches, ya'll!!:smug: Tio

In 1995, I thought hurricane Henriette was the one that boresighted San Lucas. I remember it well --- four days without power.

2001 was bad in in October. All the shelves were empty at the corner stores in Cabo and no gasoline for a while.
