Rosarito Beach Abandons Parking Meters... For Now.

It's very good they are not going to activate them for now. They found a legal loophole- imagine that. This deal was something Mayor Torres stuck the new Mayor with and everyone in town revolted against. They were to collect $1USD an hour on the main boulevard- from the Rosarito Beach Hotel down to the Smart & Final. All Puerto Nuevo as well. It wasn't necessarily a "bad deal", just bad judgement to proceed after the real estate and economic collapses here. Torres was thinking the goose that laid the golden eggs would still be here.
