have fun and hope it is another saldo blanco for the fiestas this year...no injuries or major problems. Asuncion pretty much empties out this weekend
as most families roots are from san ignacio and everyone goes to the fiestas...just too hot for me! no fishing probably till wednesday para los
crudos!!!
our fiestas are Aug.12-15 this year.

Last year they had Mariachi Music the first night, which I thought was fantastic ( since I did not like the rock and roll of the later nights) but I
have not heard anything about what they are doing this year.

It is crazy noisy and crowded in town square in front of the mission! Saw it in 2007, and cancelled any thoughts of staying in San Ignacio that
night!!
