Can anyone recommend a good and honest automotive A/C person in La Paz? I have a '93 Dodge Cummins Diesel pickup, A/C unit blowing hot air, probably
just a minor leak in the system but I've no experience in A/C repairs, need an expert. Recs appreciated.

In case anyone else is having auto A/C issues, Burton and Cherie were kind enough to send me emails recommending PACMESA at Allende y Independencia,
and Luis Valdez whose shop is on Serdan just north of Colima. Thank you, Burton and Cherie.

I had Jose Luis Vega install all my A/C (3 minisplits). A/C is his specialty, but Jose Luis also does electrical and some plumbing and just about any
other kind of maintenance. He put up security lights all around the house, upgraded gate and door locks, put in a new and second circuit box that
houses separate breakers for each mini split and also installed 6 four plug electrical receptacles in six different locations in the yard (underground
wiring). He stands behind all his work.
Two years ago I had a real emergency when a very, very tall cheramoya tree was going to fall on my neighbors yard and boat during a storm. The tree
started to uproot. I called Jose Luis to ask him if he knew a reliable/capable guy who could come out RIGHT now and cut the tree down. He said
"yeah", then he came out with a friend and cut the thing down before it fell. He's a "go to guy".
Oh yeah, forgot somethings. He put up all the circular razor wire on 3 sides around my property lot (approx 330 linear feet), installed my water
heater, and fixed an obstruction in my propane gas plumbing.

Oh, oh, jumped the gun, you meant "auto A/C", not home a/c. Call him anyway, wouldn't hurt. I call him first for all my other maintenance needs, for
the house or otherwise. He could probably give you a good first hand referral to someone located in town who does good work and charges reasonable
rates. Jose Luis's rates are very reasonable as well.
