A friend of mine has one and while moored off his home, a Chubasco blew in, chaffed through the line and he found the boat on the beach the next
morning about two miles frome his house - un-harmed.

They're VERY TOUGH!!
Made of Heavy Duty Resin type plastic - very similar to the stuff white plastic chairs are made of.
I've always thought they'd be a perfect boat for Baja. If a rock hit while trailering or debris hit it while running, it would just bounce off! I
think in one test I heard of...they had hit it with a sledge hammer.

I bought the 17 foot center console and brought it down here to La Paz. That commercial, and beating one to death with a baseball bat at the Fred Hall
Show a couple years ago, sold me on it.
Already tapped a few rocks launching at Muertos in a good breeze, not a
scratch!!! Very easy to clean, rinse and go. Great mileage with a 60hp fourstroke for power. I love this boat!! Pescador has the 21 foot center console up in San Bruno. Ask him, but I
think his is "bulletproof" as well.

there are 4 right around us
nice
but don't "tap" a rock with the propeller

I have owned a fleet of boats, but this is definately the best boat I have ever owned. It rides the nasty water better than anything else, and the
one chance encounter with the pier at Punta Chivato caused some real damage (for the rocks on the pier). They have a website at http://www.triumphowners.net/

Does this mean we dont have to pay registration for a trailer?
Pescador.....you have one of these? What Model?

I have the 21.5 Center Console with a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke.
I decided to drill holes in the hull to mount a drain for the fishboxes, which normally drain into your bilge, and I could not believe the thickness
of the hull. And you save the plugs that you drilled out and if you ever get a bad cut or scratch, you can use a soldering iron to weld the plastic
into the scratch.
We have to make longer runs than we used to in the old days and it is not unusual that we run 25 miles to Tortuga Island and with this boat I feel
totally safe if the wind comes up and makes a mess of the sea. Just like the adds where they cut a Boston Whaler in half and it floats, this boat
does the same thing, but it rides at least 10 times better than any Whaler I have ever been on.
