storm brewing in El Burro

So I thought. The clouds rolled out as soon as they rolled in. Haven't seen rain since we arrived about a month ago but been tricked by the clouds more than once!!

We were at our place in Coyote Bay for a week ending that day. Flew out of Serenedad on the 6th(Sat.) and saw those clouds over the gulf as far north as LA Bay. Interesting in that they were only over the water, not land, so we flew inland a bit to avoid them. They were mostly stratus, 2500-6000 feet, no cumulus that I could see.

Chispiando (sprinkling) in Todos Santos. Rolling Thunder. Nice, cool breeze right now.

I remember that day too and I thought about taking a photo of that impressive cloud system .... wouldda couldda shouldda
I went to eebmike.com and watched it develop. Very cool to see a storm like that just popup outta nowhere. Storm cells developing on the mainland like that everyday but nothing over our mountains this afternoon.

We would be camping and see clouds like that and secure everything for the storm and then... nothing.

Hey Bob and Susan- not sure exactly where you are in Mulege but when we shop in Mulege it is about the same or a little hotter than El Burro. Both are hotter than the dickens this time of year. We enjoy a slight breeze during the day and sleep in the air-conditioned motorhome at night. We spend a lot of time in the water!!Good news is this time of year it is us and two full timers who have the beach to ourselves!!

we drove by yesterday and all we saw were people in the water - no one else standing or sitting out of the agua .... and boy oh boy.... it was sweltering hot. we're talking temps ranging in the high 90's and 100 !!

bob and susan - one of these days we will stop by - I think I saw your place - there really is a lighthouse there, correct ?

absinvestor - come on by to the Pacific side and see how we are suffering with 75 water and 75 outside temperatures .... 2 story white house at the end of calle erizo - the street that follows the ocean north.
