there are seal colonies. the pangueros claim all the sharks are out by cedros island.....

Driving thru this area, the shark signs posted in the fishing villages is a bit stressful. No way to survive an attack out here.

Have been surfing there when ever possible since before the paved road. (highway 1) Never have seen one in the water but have seen plenty at some of
the fish camps. It is good to remember you are a limited guest when you enter the ocean. If one of the real locals happens to show up it is best to
leave.
