Does anybody know if UPS or FedEx delivers to the Baja, more specifically Loreto. How would one have something delivered from Canada or the States ?
Mulegena - 8-25-2011 at 06:54 AM
www.bajaimportmail.com is a new company offering its services to Baja through Loreto. Here's the thread going on right now about it: http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=54727
They use the well-established services of Mexico's Estafeta, the equivalent to FedEx. www.estafeta.com

no UPS, no FEDX. see Mulegena's post.
the time honored way of getting stuff here is to know someone driving down.

I received a credit card sent by BofA...FedEx from the US and delivered in Loreto in 2 business days. FedEx does have shipping arrangements to
Loreto, but it is very expensive. In my case it was paid by BofA and receipt showed $35.

I have sent small packages to Loreto via DHL from Oregon.
An envelope with a set of keys cost me $38.00.
As the other posters mentioned, the package goes to Estafeta in Loreto, and they hand deliver the package.

Thank you Mulegena.
Baja Import Mail Services offers a one-time service from Laredo, Texas to Loreto, Baja Sur for $9.00 USD with a few restrictions.
You can also get a monthly service for $15.00 USD that includes weekly delivery (Loreto Area) and 2 pounds of mail per month. Great for getting your
magazine subscriptions.
Thanks Again!

Us postal mail worked for my package fom las vegas to la paz. Paid $85 for 2 hravy shock absorbers. It took a week just because it sat in mx city for
customs, though no tariffs was charged.
