Yesterday morning when I took this shot in Loreto it really looked like it was going to rain in earnest, but as you can see in the pic most of it was
re-evaporating before it got to the surface. Sigh, still very dry.

do you know, for the last 2 days we have heard so much thunder. and we saw lightning lighting up the sky last night. just makes it hotter and more

WOOOOOW....I think that is my favorite photo in a long time here...just stunning. It looked like that here yesterday and I ran around covering up
cement etc...thunder, lightening, a wind whipped up and big drops started falling...and....and....that was about it...a few minutes of big
drops...didnt even wet the ground...dang.

The blue was not your regular ol' blue sky- spectacular and no color enhancing needed ! It looked like photos of earth's atmosphere you see taken from
the space or the view up the eye of a hurricane.
