Long story, but I flew into La Paz on a domestic Volaris flight out of TJ a little over a year ago. Forgot to get my FMM as I was used to flying out

And they will confiscate your visa on the return flight. I flew from Loreto to LA via Hermosillo. At hermosillo they kept my visa even though I had

I argued this point at SJD airport. They finally agreed to keep a copy of my paperwork, returning the original to me as it still had several months
remaining.
