Surprised there hasn't been a response to this?

It has been a long time since I went fishing out with the Castro's... but what a great place to get your fill of rock cod!

Castro's Camp is on the Pacific Coast, west of San Vicente (BCN), just north of Ejido Erendira at Punta San Isidro... just south of Coyote Cal's Hostel.

Castros launch their pangas directly in front the camp.

It may be private for their use and the use of their guest - I do not know.

This time of the year should be great down there...

Have not been there is about 10 years but I use to fish there 3-4 times a year. The launch area is down a very steep dirt road built along a cliff about 60' above the water. It has giant potholes, is narrow with a straight down dropoff on one side. The locals would pull their pangas both up and down the road without a trailer with an old beat up truck. I did see them once haul a 20' private boat on its trailer down to the water. I would never put my boat thru that torture.

Today I'd call the reservation tel number and ask them the latest info. Use to be great rockcod fishing.
