Would like to hear some road condition feedback from anyone who has traveled Hwy 3 from Tecate to Ensenada or vice versa in the past few weeks.

It's been a couple of weeks, but a summary of the condition is.....five miles of roadwork around the town of Testarazo and the usual mile of
potholes on the west end of town.
The surface of the road is fairly good, but the construction of the new lanes on the side of the old makes it a bit messy.
Having to do it over again, I wouldn't at this time. My trips are going north, so I'll take 2000 to the Tecate Free or Toll road and bypass the
construction.
By the way....my last trip earned me a big starburst break in my windshield from an oncoming car throwing up debris....driving like a card-carrying
jerk.
Whatever you do....don't drive it at night.

Just drove it on Sat. Sept 3rd and was very stoked on the road conditions. My last trip on Hwy 3 was 2008 and the road was a mess. Since then it seems
like at least half the road has been repaved and widened. As long as you don't get stuck behind a truck you can fly along at a good speed.
And ditto to what Dennis said about the nuts going to fast in the road construction areas throwing up debris.

Sounds like road 2000 wins hands down. Thanks for the feedback
