BajaNomad

If you live in Mulege and are home now...

I need your help. Here´s the situation, I´m in an Internet in Vizcaino with someone else´s kayak loaded on top of my vehicle and I need to find a fellow Nomad in Mulege who would be willing to watch over it until its rightful owner shows up. Should be in a couple of days at the most.

We will be passing through Mulege in three or four hours if all goes to plan. Hopefully, I will have at least one reply of someone willing to do this favor for a fellow Nomad.

Thanks,
Tripper

you can leave it at our place at #54 in the oasis...just talk to victor, the jefe there and tell him to put it in the shop if we're not there.

The time isn't accurate on my computer but you're also welcome to drop it off at our palapa #7 in El Burro. Ron and Patty

Thanks to those who replied, I knew I could count on my trusty Nomads in a pinch. As it happened, we arrived in Mulege at 2 in the afternoon, which meant that all three Internet places in town were closed. After trying to get in contact with my Plan A to no avail, I met Dustin, an American living there who was kind enough to let me drop the kayak off at his rental at the Oasis, where it will await its owner.

Again, thanks.

Sorry, I missed this post. Glad you found a place.

btw, there is free wifi 24/7 at Hotel Hacienda, just walk into the courtyard and set up.

I have retrieved my kayak from Dusty and it is resting and happy in Mulege now. Many thanks to bajatripper for rescuing it for me. After totaling my junk RV north of Guerrero Negro I thought "well, adios my yellow $500 unused friend". Luckily bajatripper stopped at the wreck site and salvaged it for me. Many thanks to all.
