I remember this,, it is so funny but so truesancho - 9-22-2011 at 11:11 AM
I ran across that a few months ago, posted it
on BN, although subsequently was informed it had been
posted before, I mistakenly referred to it as
Mex Imm, I was scolded of sorts, told it is
from Spain and not Mex and that could happen in
many bureaucracies,
and gladly accepted the correctionbajamigo - 9-22-2011 at 11:13 AM
If you read the comments on YouTube, you could argue that it refers to almost any country in southern Europe.DENNIS - 9-22-2011 at 11:13 AM

i would have used "by the same backhand" instead of "in the same post" but that's just me.MitchMan - 9-22-2011 at 05:00 PM
For decades the US media and movies have portrayed Latin American and certain European governments as inefficient, riddled with ridiculous paper work,
showing simple minded government officials as repeatedly stamping mountains of paper work. Then I came to Mexico, got a corporation, got an FM3,
filed with Secretaria de Economia, got electronic signatures for both myself and the corp, did some some changes to the corp, bought a casita with a
fido and got to witness first hand the stereotypical behavior of Mexican government officials processing paperwork stereotypically and exactly as
depicted by said USA media.
It's no joke, it's real. I still wonder what the INM and the Secretaria de Economia do with all the copies of the corporate docs, the identical, same
several copies of said corporate docs that I give them every year. I mean, why do they need more than one copy? What do they do with the copies that
I gave them the previous year?
Do they clean out and toss all their files every year? Yeah, that's efficient.
I have a great idea. Make one file, keep one copy of things in that file and only annually update the file with changes and make written notes on a
cover sheet to the file.
I broke out laughing this year when I renewed my electronic signatures. At the end of the process, the guy had about nine coppies of something and
then proceeded to stamp every single copy in rapid succession, then he had me sign all the copies.
Two years ago I made a small change to the Mexican corp. Cost me nearly $2,000 USD after having to pay an attorney, government filing fees, and
several Notario fees. In the USA, that same change would have taken 10 minutes and cost nothing.krafty - 9-22-2011 at 05:05 PM
An inconvenience-think of all the things here (bldg. permits, elec. permits, taxes, etc) you pay nothing for or next to nothing and these fees are
heaped on you in the statesLee - 9-22-2011 at 05:12 PM
If I could pay (call it mordida) to make immigration easier or smoother, I'd gladly pay. Great video.bajabound2005 - 9-22-2011 at 05:15 PM

yes we all know that, but it makes no difference, exactly the same thing goes on in Mexico.
