Terry28 - 10-9-2011 at 06:21 PM

We should be in the bay thursday or friday of this week.
Any suggestions on whom to rent a panga from for all or half days of fishing?>> Not sure where we will be staying just playing it by ear when we get there...

IGOR is the very best, but you should call ahead and make reservations. he has a big following and he is not cheap . But he has the absolute best equipment down there.

Marcos at Campo Archelon is very good , gone out with several times and had great fishing, reasonable prices

Went out with Guillermo in his super panga many years ago with Sonora Wind...

Chato is a good one too!

Or you can try Joel Prieto, he lives across the street from the museum.

I was just there a week ago and used Marcos at Campo Archelon. I have used him many times in the past and have always done well. Another good guide is a guy named Rafa. Both charge about $150/day which is very reasonable for that area.
