Ready Lane at Otay Today, Thursday 10/13/11

Gypsy Jan - 10-13-2011 at 06:54 PM

In line at 12:05 pm. Passed through the guard booth at 12:14pm.

This does not take into account our wandering around trying to work through the shortcut we worked out from the Guia Roja map of Tijuana using Chuahetemoc Blvd. from the circle.

It looks like you turn south on Ninos Heroes Blvd. and then take a main road up and past the University of Baja.

We didn't quite get it right today and had to circle around Cinco y Diez, but we will keep working on it and when we get a foolproof (I am using that in reference to myself, as co-pilot) set of directions, I will post such.

Wed @ 4PM, my friend crossed in under 10 minutes. Thurs at 4PM my cousin crossed in 25 minutes. Today (Fri), I crossed in 30 minutes (also 4PM) , but the guy in front of me took about 4 minutes and I took about 5 (I drive a converted van, the agent was great and just doing his job!!).
Thanks for the report, hope you fine the shortcut!

Thu, 1 p.m. Northbound.

U.S. Ready-Lane 35-40 minutes. Probably about 15 minutes quicker than the other lanes.

Except Sentri, of course. Which looked to be 30 seconds.
