We are happy to see our old amigos from the Vagabundos travel club here in Asuncion once again with a couple Nomads in tow too! 7 rigs have been here
all week fishing, hiking, beachcombing, trying out the restaurants and generally boosting the town economy.

Here is Howard ordering empanadas and burritos from Lizbet for a little snack before dinner!

and the ever popular GC of Punta Banda fame with some nice calicos they caught fishing with Juan.

and speaking of Nomad sightings...Daveyjoans has been hanging here surfing, fishing and groovin with the locals...thanks for the yummy fish tacos
amigos!

while Woody has not yet graced us with his presence....there was a Pacifico sighting here a few days ago. He and his lovely fishing wife Lisa caught
some nice yellowtail with Juan and those two were the bomb!!

and a big welcome to Nappo and his tribe who arrived yesterday but got blown out fishing today...been a real nomad tribe here this week and we
convinced a few who are not in the sandbox yet to jump in and play.

Shari, thanks for a great time. The campground was in super shape and fishing with Juan was a pleasure, as usual. Although there was lots of road
work on the way home, we were back in Punta Banda yesterday. Cheers, George.

Glad you made it home OK...we went to GN yeserday for Juan's checkup...the doctor said he had been a bad boy pulling on too many fish and ordered 3
more days of complete rest (he's out on the rock right now in front of the house fishing for calico!!)
I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw all the machinery working on the pothole road before Vizcaino and marvelled at how you guys got through all that
sand in your rigs...specially Howards castle on wheels.
As always you were all a pleasure to have in the village and Campground...we look forward to next year's visit....you are the calico king!!!

Shari. What do you do for R&R when you have no guests. (besides running into G.N. to hug your daughter & grandchild?
shari - 10-29-2011 at 09:30 AM
In our off season, we go to the beach and fish alot...go figure...and visit relatives in BOLA, San Lucas cove and ensenada is where sirena is
now...kind of a long way to go for a hug. Agua Verde is where we go on vacation at easter. We pretty much dont have alot of R&R time as we are
building more rooms onto our place here at the Blowhole so are busy with that and landscaping...whew...I need a nap after this.

Man O Man, that sounds fun. Interstate 5 down the hill from our house was closed for 11 hours day before yesterday when a terrorist with an AK 47 shot
it out with six or seven CHP's and Sheriff' deputies. I long for the peacefulness of Mexico.

CG...sorry to break the news but your reign has been shortlived and Nappo was crowned the new calico king of 2011 with his 6.7lb beauty...(his
eyeballs were delicious)
