Buying a frozen turkey in CSL

CP - 11-5-2011 at 05:18 PM

Our friends will be flying into CSL for a few days then driving up the penninsula to spend Thanksgiving with us. They will want to buy a frozen turkey in CSL. I am thinking Costco may be a good bet for one but wanted to ask those down there if there may be a few other options??
Thanks.

I'm too lazy to look it up right now....What does "tacolote" mean that is so funny?

Mega in San Jose has good turkeys. Cheaper than Costco

Sopilote is buzzard, Tecolote is owl.

Tell them not to buy pavo ahumado unless you want smoked turkey. Several of my friends have made that mistake.
