Watching Chargers In Baja

Bob H - 11-6-2011 at 12:42 PM

Who will be watching today's Chargers game -vs- the defending Super Bowl champions Green Bay Packers on TV in Baja?

They are predicting over 30,000 cheeseheads at Qualcomm Stadium today. Unreal.

This should be interresting to watch. I hope the Chargers can pull out an upset here! They NEED IT!

Ateo - 11-6-2011 at 12:43 PM

Better buy some beer to drown your sorrows when the Bolts get embarrassed. I say this as a Chargers fan.....hopefully I'm wrong.

desertcpl - 11-6-2011 at 12:49 PM

I am also a die hard Charger fan

god knows they have the talent to win, and I think they will

they have been guilty of beating thems selfs for so long now, not just this season

desertcpl - 11-6-2011 at 12:53 PM

Oh forgot

wife is making fresh Hatch Chile's, stuffed with pork chorizo, sharp cheddar, wrapped in bacon

GO CHARGERS

Ateo - 11-6-2011 at 01:02 PM

Oh man that sounds good!! I'm only eating Pizza. Go Chargers. Snap out of it!

woody with a view - 11-6-2011 at 01:16 PM

we're having yellowtail sashimi, brats, huancaina, and swilling TKT lights after a sangre maria. packers are looking past the bolts, just what we need!

c'mon Philip, haven't you repaid the bookie yet?

PCbaja - 11-6-2011 at 01:28 PM

What a waste of Baja time.

:lol::lol:

You mean he is not supposed to throw the ball to the guys in the gold pants?

By golly, he just completed one but the ball must have had grease on it as it slipped right out of the receiver's hands.

Broccoli w/ blue cheese dip is today's lunch tribute to cheezhedz. Still a bit of blue sky 75 miles south of QualComm.

I'm guessing 4:30PM as the over/under line on beginning rain in Punta Banda.

Chorizo/tomato stew is melding for a pairing with Pacificos later this evening.

Woooosh - 11-6-2011 at 04:56 PM

45-24 OMG... If not for the rain , I wouldn't even be inside watching. We need the rain more than the Chargers. ;)

David K - 11-6-2011 at 05:11 PM

45-38 Here Come the BOLTS!!!

Doc

bajaguy - 11-6-2011 at 05:40 PM

I have rain at 4:37PM

PCbaja - 11-6-2011 at 05:56 PM

Like I said before....waste of time.

desertcpl - 11-6-2011 at 06:09 PM

go away

PCbaja - 11-6-2011 at 06:14 PM

Don't be such a sore loser.

So, who won?

Dave - 11-6-2011 at 07:25 PM

Skipjack Joe - 11-6-2011 at 07:29 PM

The 49ers.

desertcpl - 11-7-2011 at 08:47 AM

not the Chargers

David K - 11-7-2011 at 08:53 AM

Sure where a lot of Green Bay fans in San Diego yesterday...

desertcpl - 11-7-2011 at 09:07 AM

Yup

got to hand it to them, they are a very loyal bunch

DENNIS - 11-7-2011 at 09:29 AM

Half of the San Diego fan base is off fighting one war or another. Besides.......GB is the incumbant.
I can't imagine there are so many displaced cheese-brains in San Diego, and It's doubtful they drove out just for the game.

That said....I wonder what the stands would have looked like had it not been for them. Sparsely populated, I would guess.

desertcpl - 11-7-2011 at 09:33 AM

that does make you wonder

Another game last night?

Dave - 11-11-2011 at 11:58 AM

Who won?

desertcpl - 11-11-2011 at 12:07 PM

not the Chargers

David K - 11-11-2011 at 12:14 PM

:fire::rolleyes::(

4 losses in a row now... The Charges have lost their spark!

It was a fun game to watch, lots of action... but the end was 7 points too few (to tie).

Oakland Raiders...."Just Win Baby."

woody with a view - 11-11-2011 at 07:39 PM

they need to start playing for the #1 pick in the draft. their window is officially CLOSED.... can you say mediocre? one bright spot is Vincent Brown, a local SoCal kid. the O-line is decimated, the D-line is non-existant. the secondary is toast=burnt everytime. Q-Jam is either holding or being burnt......

they shoulda kept Marty for one more year.

fire the GM and give Bill Cohwer whatever he wants, and a 5 year window.
