Baja 1000 - Honda teams / 0X Plate

Curt63 - 11-15-2011 at 11:09 AM

JCR/Honda will field two competitive teams: the 1st team consists of Baja dominators Kendall Norman, Quinn Cody and new young blood, Logan Holladay. The defending SCORE champions are running the 1X plate.

JCR’s 2nd team consists of the current SCORE points leader Colton Udall, David Kamo and features the return to Baja, of JCR/Honda's own Timmy Weigand.

The team will be running the 0X plate in honor of Jeff "OX" Kargola.

Very cool, Curt! I can't wait to get down there...leaving in about 20 minutes! We will be pre-running and chasing for a buddy of mine. He is racing class 1. Watch for car #117!!!

Take care!

I think Colton just has to finish to get the 1X plate

Corky, have not seen you post in quite a while.

We are heading down next week for a six day loop out of San Quintin

Yah, good to see Corky posting! I remember when we met along the Gonzaga Bay road and then at Alfonsinas... in 2003, Thanksgiving!

You too Deveau... we met at Baja Cactus after you rode the Bill Nichols trail across Baja from the gulf side.

I was pitting at Laguna Salada for the first time at the 1000 and it was unbelievable how fast those guys came through. I saw the first bike coming from a distance and before I could get my camera out of the bag and powered up, Kendall Norman had flown past me hauling burro. Impressive!
