Going through Mexicali East or West tomorrow morning at 0800 with some stuff that will have to be declared. Does anyone know if the bank where you
pay the import tax will be open then?....it's a holiday..Revolution Day...and it's early. So what will be the deal?

Being a 3 day weekend ( a puente) I believe the banks are closed tomorrow, however I can not imagine the bank for your Temp. Import permit, car

Car deposit and Temp. Import Permit aren't required entering Baja Calif. Just tourist permit if you don't have FM2-3 (old names).
He wants to pay import duty.

Does that mean that you don't have to park and go over to the bank to pay the tax???.....just pay it at the aduana lane?

Well, they aren't gonna accept payment out of your car window so where ever the caja/cashier is that's where you pay. But you don't pay at a bank.
