Anybody ELSE "lose" their connection as a result of Hughes moving transponder assignment to vacate failing transponders on SatMex5 ?

I cancelled my service with Hughes a week ago for this reason. Fortunately we have a local internet service guy that sends us a signal from his
mountain top transmitter NE of San Jose del. We had been using both for a couple of years, but now that Osmar has gotten the bugs out of his system,
we are able to go with "Alexanet" for good. Faster too.

I have had some times during the morning where SAt Mex 5 has been really slow and pretty non-functional, but for the most part it has been pretty good
this week. I finally got a contact number for the guy in Santa Rosalia who sets up Infinitum and if they can set up something I might look at it. It
ain't the best but it sure beats dial up. I am easier because I can remember when we used to have to drive 30 miles or so to even get a connection.
