My Wife and I got up early this am before dawn to catch a view of it as it was slowly setting in the WNW. I had my new 20X90 Oberwerk binoculars set
up on the swing mount and we saw as the shadow slowly enveloped the moon in a reddish tinge. It was about 90% covered until we lost it behind a small
hill. Worth getting up for!
Anybody else see it, perhaps with a perfect horizon?
I have seen others that were redder than this one.

We got up early enough but there was a cloud cover...and MISSED it!
