I need a couple of these shells for a display, does anyone know if there are beaches where they are abundant or shell markets where they can be
bought, thanks in advance.....BG.

I use this website to help with shell identification, but you can also purchase shells from the site. Here is the link for the various Oyster Shells.
Hope this helps:

Thank you Grace59, I understood that these oysters live in the Sea of Cortez so I figured while visiting Baja in March I might find a couple, thats
the fun part....

They have lots of the shells in La Bufadora, near Ensenada, BC

Thanks udo, are you talking about the stalls that sell shells? I had hoped to find some on a beach but if I have to buy a couple so be it, thanks
again.....

Baja Grouper; Did you find your Shells?
I have 3 good size boxes of these shells that i picked up on the Beach South of conception in the early 70's. I have never cleaned them but they are
still Beautifull. Let me know if you are interested.
