Yeah, until the day after Christmas........thats why I live here. Too
bad we can't find a way to make it snow on Christmas Eve and then make it get 78 degrees the day after Christmas.......BTW where are you
anyway.???.

Kasheydog- We're in Boulder Co. Will leave here around the 28th of Dec and after a couple of stops on the way will be at Playa El Burro from the
middle of January until around June. Merry Christmas. Ronwoody with a view - 12-22-2011 at 06:19 PM
the only nice thing about snow on Christmas is that it is on someone else's front yard.....

we had a great day on the beach today and dipping in the ocean, had to be in teh high 70's...it was glorious...with Udo and his wife, Bajafam, Zoe and
some non nomad amigos...lobster, crab, yellowtail sashimi the fishers brought home and even roast elk for dinner...man oh man...life is good.Osprey - 12-23-2011 at 08:34 AM
I got up a little early and went down to the beach to watch the waves overtake the beach. Big storm system is making it a rough Christmas for anybody
in the bay with a boat at anchor.
Later today 30 knots will make 10 foot waves in a little Sea that is famous for it's calm waters.
We have turkey, booze and a little Mexican house that has withstood 70 years of this stuff so we are safe and blessed this Christmas. Hope the same or
better for all Nomads and their families.Pescador - 12-23-2011 at 08:36 AM
I woke up this morning and swear that at Santa Rosalia, I saw Dorothy and Toto flying by. I am sure they are on the way to Osprey's house where he is
dressing up as the Wizard of Oz. They were flying by so fast, it was hard to get a clear look.Osprey - 12-23-2011 at 10:49 AM
Maybe they'll end up at Toto Santos.Cypress - 12-23-2011 at 01:03 PM
Down on the bayou in Mississippi. Low's in the 50's, high's in the 60's. Breezy out of the north. The fish are biting. Merry Christmas!DENNIS - 12-23-2011 at 01:23 PM

Headed into the mid 70s in Imperial Beach for Christmas! I would like it to be colder----but our heating bills are so very low. DENNIS - 12-23-2011 at 02:58 PM
It's been blowin' hard and frigid all day here. They say it'll be warmer tomorrow. Good. I like warmer.bajajudy - 12-23-2011 at 03:05 PM

It's a beautuful blue sky day, with no wind. Still not beach weather, a bit chilly for that.
Ohhh my....an iceberg just drifted by my house so that must mean it's time for a hot toddy.

Dennis,
It is a beautiful blue sky day today. It could be beach weather if we dig another one of these at low tide this afternoon. This one was 165 degrees
according to my trusty Pampered Chef thermometer. I say we dig the next one a bit closer to the waters edge and jump in!

absinvestor, that's a very nice view of the Flatirons.
I miss Colorado a tad, but, prefer my view of the caballero on the bay lasso-ing the iceberg. He's a multi-talented fellow.David K - 12-24-2011 at 11:15 AM
Hot spring below the sand? absinvestor - 12-24-2011 at 11:32 AM
Bajadock- you obviously know Boulder. The Flatirons picture was taken from our daughter's bedroom window. We're in the house on Cragmoor Rd that backs
to open space . Our daughter, son-in-law and grandkids are somewhere outside cross country skiing- personally, at my age, I enjoy the warm Baja
waters!!DENNIS - 12-24-2011 at 11:57 AM

Maybe get Alex and his disintegrating backhoe and have him dig a pool.
