In the strictest sense, I'd call it a yurt rather than a tent.

that IS a tent and its been up for about 4 years...

The big problem I see with that tent is it's location. There's not a whole lot of metropolitan activity around there. You'd wake up in the morning, heat up some coffee, take a look at the water, maybe cook up a little something, sit down in the shade looking over the water and read a book. Lunch would be much the same. Add a few beers to the above scenario, and you have dinner. You might be bothered by your fishing pole stuck in the sand with the tip shaking with a fish on the end of the line. I don't know how long I could endure such a regimen - about 40 years tops.
