The latest on Loreto INM ??

Just wondering if INM has appointed Rommel (a good guy) or someone to head the Loreto INM office again....?

I'd heard that FM-2 / FM-3 paperwork was being sent to Sta. Roslia for review and official approval & signature recently.... Rommel is a nice fellow, and the prior office chief was a nice gal as well. I guess INM moved her elsewhere....? She did mention to me that Loreto was a bit small / slow for her preferance....

Just wondering how long my next renewal will take . . . Fairly simple and direct the past 6 years . . . A week generally, including my last years' which I was late filing. Anyone in the know or renewed recently?

Thx

I recently renewed my FM-3, which took from Jan 3rd to Jan 9th, so not bad at all..If they sent it to Sta. Rosalia for review and approval, that was fast. I don't think Rommel has been appointed the "chief" yet, but he utilizes the office. Bianca is a big help to most of us. You must fill out the renewal form on line and bring it in to the office, along with the other requirements; i.e. photos, 3 months of bank statements, etc...

Good Luck..

I finished all my paper work this morning for a renewal of my FM-3 at the Loreto INM office. They send the weeks worth of applications off to be approved on Fridays. I just missed the outgoing batch so will have to wait an extra week. They said it will be ready a week from next Wednesday.
The whole process took me about an hour including the hand wriitten request to stay, (in spanish). Last year they didnt ask for a bank statement but that has been changed (again) and you do need one. The whole process was quick and painless. Cost of renewal including pictures was 1650 pesos.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is my 7th renewal at the same office and this was the easiest yet.

Thanks gents,
