Otay vs San Ysidro Sentri

We've been crossing exclusively at Otay,(northbound), for a few years now. Are there realy six Sentri lanes at S.Y.?

Depending on time and day, I've seen as many as five Sentri lanes open at San Ysidro.

Right....,depending on the time and traffic. But the longest I've ever had to wait at S.Y. is 20 minutes. That's when the standard lanes are 2 & 3 hour waits. I only use Otay when I've got non- Sentri passengers and the pedestrian line at S.Y. is too long. Usually not much wait in the pedestrian line at Otay.

SY has 3-4 lanes open on average, but is impacted by construction currently.

Drove directly to the booth at Otay this morning at 520am. Only one booth open, the other booth was closed due to rain.
