Proof that God loves me (or at least my wife)

Stopped at Bahia San Luis Gonzaga for lunch today driving down the east side of Baja. Typical Baja dirt road. After lunch Karen puts some stuff in the back of the truck and off we go. Two hours down the road we stop for another break and this is what I found sitting on the trailer tongue. After two hours of bumpy Baja road her purse is somehow still sitting where she put it after lunch. Gracias a Dios!

I would attribute that to Good Karma.

That is awesome! Baja karma for sure

I remember one time following my dad down a washboard rd, I came around a corner after about 500 yards of dirt road and he had lost his utility trailer. It was just sitting in the middle of the road. The hitch was still attached to the car but the bolts had come off the trailer. Funny thing was he didn't realize it for about 10 minutes.

If there was a like button, I'd push it for this.

Maybe that's the best ride on your vehicle.

baja is like that. i had both surfboards come off south of Pedregoso on the way to Asuncion. i noticed when i looked out the window at my shadow. @&%$#@%$!!!!

10 minutes later i figured someone going north had found them and then i came around a curve and 2 cars were stopped on the highway. i pulled up and the guys helped me load them back on top in the 50 mph winds. karma or something....

I once drove 300 miles into Baja after an oil change in San Diego only to later discover the technician didn't screw the oil cap back on. I smelled something so I pulled over and popped the hood. Right on top of the engine still sat that oil cap. Crazy.

Your purse story is way cooler though. What a nightmare that would've been if it fell off and you had to search 2 hours of dirt road.

good karma and good story !
